Example of An experiment to test out the story...
Serena: I made a video which captures a dream I am having or being part of, which revolves around the question: Climate change, a chance for human beings to consciously evolve by developing the capacity to be selfish?  And Below is an experiment one can try, preferably with a group so you can check results with each other.  The HD Version on facebook:  My Dream: Humanities consciously evolve by...

Draft Commentary on the video - can humanities become self-aware For the third part of the video-the voice-over, i know it sucks. So i am looking for people willing to help me with  1- background music with no vocals  2- replace my voice-over with a group dialogue or a better energy-charged voice-over  3- improve the visuals presentation, suggest relevant video clips.
Climate Chance is going to present: Rhe greatest interactive Drama/Comedy ever— “From Kyoto to Copenhagen, 2 minutes to tell you what happened with the global climate debate” Based on the following story (as well as Marina’s witty capture of specifically what happened in Copenhagen. The script will be reproduced in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Serena Reblogged:...

Binding Targets? Let's talk about something...
This is reblogged from the Joseph Yu, a fellow BP 2041 Antarctica Expedition, Taiwanese-Canadian  MBA graduate currently based in Copenhagen, poignantly hilarious and illuminating of what the entire UN/UNFCCC/Internaitonal negotiation process or the State of the World Affair is like. Philip Hafstad -Copenhagen Concluding Blog
Philip Hafstad A complete failure for humanity? A death penalty for millions of people? This is how many NGOs as well as national governments express their feelings after the failed negotiations here in Copenhagen. The discussions have been intense these last days and finally all countries agreed to a very weak paper, far away from something that the earth really needs. The paper that has been...

Again, reblogged from Marina Tse’s facebook note. She has many lovely photos and lots of other deeper personal insights, please add her as a friend and read the rest here. One comment on this bog -  It’s funny that at the end of my 10-day meditation, i did come to the same conclusion as what you said —behind the façade of “nation,” “society,” be it developing or developed,...

Marina at COP15 Diary 4
(Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol,是負責研究KP的後續發展的工作小組) 詭異的是接著主席Connie Hedegaard就辭職了,換上來的是丹麥首相。 ...

Marina at COP15 Diary 2
Sorry for English readers! But climate chance does have many Chinese readers too! Will try to upload the translation ASAP. KP 第一周談判桌上的第一個明爭暗鬥的重點是KP(Kyoto Protocol,京都議定書)的存亡。

by Annabelle, one of the Green Advocates

“A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. COP15 Diary-Day 1, 14 Dec 2009
Frustration, overwhelming and inspiring: the first day of COP15 in Copenhagen in a nutshell.

Thought for Copenhagen
Hey, its Jeff here =) So what is my message for Copenhagen? Do I push for more radical changes than the ones proposed? Do I shout that the leaders were wrong to give up hope of a legally binding protocol to replace Kyoto? Or should I just leave a message of support for what is, to be honest, relatively a big leap forward? Now I, for one, am not one who wishes to impose thoughts to people;...

Another perspective on "carbon" - We are God
It is fasincating to see how “carbon” becomes a buzz world today. We breath it, we seek to reduce it, and we are made of it too! In one of my previous wild hallucinations some time ago, i really saw god in all the people around me - and indeed, all the “gods” human beings have revered are painted in shape and face of human beings (to me). Although now i have found out...

– Alan Greenspan To me, it goes to language as medium of conversation, a means of representing realities. Sometimes, we get so attached to it, we think this represented reality is the reality itself, and when things change, the mind choose what it rather believe based on its belief; thus we no longer...

Love or cosmic imbalance?
“What would be my, how should I call it, spontaneous attitude towards the universe? It’s a very dark one. The first one, the first thesis would have been: a kind of total vanity. There is nothing, basically. I mean it quite literally. Like, ultimately there are just some fragments, some vanishing things, if you look at the universe it’s one big void. But then how do things...

One of the core design models of Climate Chance (as well as other partners like IISC)’s practice (for both our training and consulting work) is something we call the R-P-R Triangle, which basically makes the case that success in collaborative efforts is a multi-dimensional affair, not solely defined by “results” (goal or task accomplished), but also by “process” (the way or spirit in which work is...
